The Bentley House...before we arrived, that is. ; )
Okay, okay, I know! It took me long enough to get these babies up, but I've been busy. Playing with Photoshop. It's so kewl! Makes it easier than ever to put Paul Hogan's head on someone else's...oh, never mind. It would just be too dang hard to explain.For those members of our community who may have been in a coma, or were being held captive in a faraway land, here's the deal. 3 of our community members, Sadie (OR), Harriet (MO), and sal (the Texas gal) decided to pay me (Debra) a little visit out here in beautiful Sonoma County, California. For four days (and four swingin' nights), we stayed at the Bentley House Bed and Breakfast in Sonoma. We laughed. We cried. We swam. We got scared by cassowaries. We looked for shootin' stars. We celebrated a very special birthday. We even got to meet Kathleen McMahon and Sue Levin, the masterminds of WWWomen!
Oh, and we drank a lot of margaritas. A lot. (Not Sue and Kathleen. Just us. Hic.)
A lovely time was had by all, in other words. Several weeks later, I'm still finding it hard to focus on my work, and not drift off into memories of the conversation and the fun. : ) The only thing that would've made it any better is if everyone had been there. (Well, that, and if one of the cassowaries had laid a 50 pound chocolate egg...every 3 minutes or so. : )
