The last word - not! I'm sure!

But for me the weekend has just ended, as I've just returned from taking Kirsten home - we spent the rest of the day after Carmel and Alison left, washing up, talking about the past eighteen or so hours, looking again at all the photos and stories on Debra's and Amy's page and generally having a lovely relaxed day.

I'm pleased to see you arrived safely home, Alison and Carmel, I'm sure some others of both the human and animal variety were too!

Well what can I say - it *was* a great weekend - all too brief, but we'll know next time, won't we? As has been said already, stimulating conversation, lots of laughter, great food - my thanks to my lovely daughters, good wine - thanks to Alex and Alison, exquisite chocolates - thank you, Carmel - and I didn't know we didn't eat them all last night, till this afternoon - that was a *very* pleasant discovery! - and thanks to Julieanne who brought along the coffee that went with the chocolates, since I had managed to forget to buy some! - absolutely beautiful flowers - what a garden you must have Mariane! lol! And then the T shirts - what a lovely thought! Thank you all so much for those - and you got the sizes just right too! lol! And I must mention the so appropriate apron Alex brought me - which Plaxy donned since she was the cook. You will see it in the photos eventually.

It was really wonderful to meet Carmel and Alison and Julieanne, to see Alex again, and to spend time with my daughters too, in that warm, friendly, supportive wwwomen atmosphere - which in the flesh, so to speak, was just as enjoyable and enlivening as I always find my time visiting the boards. They are all in their different ways utterly delightful and inspiring women, and I truly hope it won't be too long before we get together again, next time hopefully with Mariane and Caroline as well.

And yes, I managed to use a whole roll of film, and Kirsten, at least, took some photos too, so it won't be *too* long before you can be figuring out which of us is which!
