JulieanneUmmmm....food, food, food... *drool*.. thank you Plaxy! flowers .. thank you Marianne!.. chokkies.. Carmel *uyummmmuyum* Talk, talk, talk, talk... lossa fun! ..from cats, to politics, to sperm counts, to phone chuckles with Mariane, - and spirituality/religion and our work, kids and homes, and for some reason back to cats several times, and the occasional dog!LOL .. but we didn't gossip about our State-side WWWomen friends:)) [ honest! true! *wink* ] and lossa toasts, (trying to think of new ones too, and then just saying the old ones with new words!)..and playing the numbers game..(with photos)...and those T-shirts, WWWWWWWonderful! Drive home at umm.. a little past the punkin hour..with Carmel and Alex...(but I work grave-yard hours so slept through Brunch....and..umm.. I *owe* you all one! .. mmmmmmmmmmm - I just remembered, I left my bourbon and coffee behind!!! ROFL..
Alex>> Julieanne i thought you would be really matronly with lots of grey hair and glasses driving a laser :-)!!! If only we could have a picture of the Kingswood. (thats a *real* australian car that Carmel and I were so kindly chaufferred home in).<< Yes, sorry about the car, I always mutter with embarrassment when I get the poor dear serviced...the servo insists on *detailing* him! .. I keep telling them not to bother...but I always pick it up to find little air-freshener thingys everywhere, and the empty coke cans and Makkas bags piled neatly on the seat:) Matronly? LOL you make me sound like my high-school English teacher, she was big-boned (nordic giantess) and 6'2", she was also intimidating and scary!! wore glasses and drove something like a laser:) a Ford buzz-box anyway:) ... but, you know you picked the grey hair right:) ... I went grey early in my mid-20s, and up until about a year ago, was sorta half-proud of it saying I'd earned each and every one, as well as the right to display them:) But last year when I "retired" I succumbed to my daughter's insistence on 'doing something' with my hair to celebrate... contrary to my whining, I liked the colour so much..I've kept it up!:) Alex>>It was also fun doing the photos - can't wait to see what y'all guess for us<< I still think we should have switched the numbers around:)) ..and around..and around.. Alex>>It's also interesting to reflect on Carmel's comments about axe murderers. << Did I tell you about the bodies in the Kingswood boot? Pity I was full up and the axe was blunt....I've developed a *palate* for axeing red-wine drinkers:)))) :) and Hugs back at you Alex:) Julieanne:) |
