Aces Of Brevard County, Florida
Association For Children For Enforcement Of Support
This Web Site is UNFRIENDLY to deadbeat parents. ACES is a "Non Profit Organization" ACES is NOT gender biased. Are you frustrated because you're having problems collecting your court ordered child support? Well you are NOT alone. ACES speaks out on every issue that affects the families we serve. For example we believe children should be as important as taxes. We are advocating for placement of child support enforcement under the IRS. We successfully advocated for federal laws, making it a federal crime to cross state lines to avoid paying child support, and requiring that child support enforcement orders include provisions for health insurance coverage. We have succeeded in intiating wage witholding for child support and faster payment through child support enforcement agencies. We are pressing for tightly cooridinated interstate collection efforts; collection of support through attachment of paychecks, bank accounts and other assets; mandatory credit bureau reporting of those who fail to pay support; more arrests of local offenders.
We are parents, grandparents, legal guardians and others who are working together to enforce child support, assisting disadvantaged children affected by parents who fail to meet legal and moral child support obligations. We hold monthly "hands on" group meetings. Inform parents "how to" access information and enforcement agencies. Organize a court monitoring program to become informed of the procedures and performance of the courts. Have "on-going" communication with Public Officials. Provide a support group to help cope with the anxiety and stress related to child support collection efforts. We are working very hard to try to improve and expedite child support collection efforts and legal representation. ACES does not receive government or United Way finds, In order for ACES to continue to help your children, we need you to join. ACES does not guarantee receipt of child support. ACES will provide members with information concerning their legal rights and remedies regarding child support and visitation. Your membership will help you, as well as, help others. Your children benefit from group action to improve child support enforcement. ACES Headquarters will write a letter of complaint on your behalf to your government child support agency. Members receive information about new laws and pending legislation. Members receive ACES National newsletter. Membership entitles that your voice will be heard by Congress and other child support public officials. JOIN ACES TODAY, TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR OUR CHILDREN! ACES is a "nationwide" organization, with over 40,000 members, and chapters in 48 states, consisting of 390 counties.
